Home of Champions & Where Future Champions Begin
The Stallion Barn is one of everyone's favorite places on the Farm. Here you can see the only two-time Breeders' Cup Classic Champion, Tiznow, at home in his stall or out in his paddock. Close by is the world class stallion, Distorted Humor. Down the hall a bit is the home of famed Bluegrass Cat. Newcomer and 2010 Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver is comfortable in his special stall. The Stallion Barn fills out with superstars Colonel John, Harlan's Holiday, Speightstown, Sharp Humor, Hold Me Back, and Spring At Last. Visit each of our stallions and get to know them. They each have their very own distinctive personalities!
WinStar's Stallion Barn reflects the excellence of our individual stallions, as well as their thoroughbred splendor. The Barn is not only a super comfortable place for the horses, but also functions as a "showroom". We have a visitor center for guests, where you can see our stallions winning the biggest races of their racing lives. From there, you walk through mahogany doors into the "Stallions Circle". The Stallions Circle is a beautiful oval where each stallion can be led out to easily from their nearby stalls, walked on a comfortable surface, and then shown majestically. Their stalls are exceptionally roomy, with their names emblazoned on a brass plaque. The room where the matings are conducted is just beyond the Stallions Circle, and is customized to promote the safety of the Stallions and the Mares. Each stallion has his own paddock, topping off our entire Stallions compound.
